Law of 33%
A great rule to follow to get ahead and expand your knowledge.
The Law of 33% simply states that you should split your time with people into 3 different groups.
The first group is with people who are 5, 10, or even 20 years ahead of you. Not necessary in age but when where you want to be in life. Whether it’s in your personal or business life. These are your mentors. The people you want to learn from and absorb information from.
The second group is with people who are at your level. This group is for friendship and sharing your experience with. You can relate to this group because they have gone through what you have and share your vision on where you want to go.
The third group is people who are 5, 10 or 20 years behind you. This is the group that you are mentoring. Not only do you get to help other people but you will also keep your skills sharp by teaching.
So who are your mentors? Who are you mentoring?
